Can drive most existing autopilot drive units without clutch. Enclosure included.
This motor controller with case is designed to provide 10A continuous current at 12 or 24V.
The 10A corresponds to the current drawn by the motor when turning the rudder at maximum torque. This is not the current when the motor is locked, as this controller allows for electronic current limiting when the rudder is locked.
The peak current of this controller can reach 15A.
The EMC filters are identical to those of the Navitop 15A motor controller. The clutch control components are not installed, and the transistors are arranged and rated for 100 A.
Like the Navitop 15 A controller, this controller can safely power the Navitop computer with 5 V DC (0.8 A peak).
The printed circuit board is marinized with several layers of tropicalized acrylic varnish.
The processor is programmed, and the functions are tested.
It is supplied with Wago 32A lever terminals (power input and motor output) and a 4-pin waterproof connector for the Pypilot computer.
The wire solder joints on the circuit board are protected by a plastic insulator.
